January 29th - First weekend home

Trying to adjust to the 13 hour time difference is hard.

Regan played with Drew in the morning.  He's ok with the dogs but is a little afraid of them.  Both dogs are being great with him.

Tiffany took him to the gymnastics class that she teaches.  He seemed to enjoy it.

Drew had his first doctor appointment with Dr. Nashi.  Dr. Nashi confirmed he had a full ear infection in one ear and redness in the other.  Here he is "pre-shot" and with his socks on his hands to keep him from scratching his legs.  He received 4 pokes.  Tiffany helped me in the room with Drew while Regan helped me by bringing Brett to his 16 year old healthy check up.  I stayed in the doctors office for over an hour with both kids, but in shifts.

Crosby is a quick learner.  He understands what happens in the highchair is is very helpful when food is dropped.  Honey is a little afraid of Drew's toys (musical with lights) so she's been hanging in her crate.  She'll get used to it.

Here's a portion of the group before Brett's basketball game on Saturday.

And here's Brett introducing him to his iPhone.  Very interesting stuff, as you see him leaning forward.

We are all trying to acclimate back to our normal time zone.  Drew is settling in just fine.  It was great to have Regan home this weekend.  With the upcoming week, we are all trying to create the new schedule.

We're spending some time in the next week or so with medical experts to confer on next steps for his upcoming palate surgery.
