Report from Tokyo

14 hour flight was long but comfortable.

Someone learned how to command both arm rests at this early age.

All flight long, there was a battle for the armrest.

All flight long...

Elise really liked watching the movies on the plane so much that she forgot to sleep.  As the time elapsed, we knew we were creating an upcoming meltdown.

Luckily the service was great.  We also enjoyed the extra space in economy plus.

She FINALLY fell asleep with about 2 hours left in the flight. (note shoes and socks reviewed by her.  she also rolled up her pants to her knees because she was hot.)

The Tokyo airport was very nice.  The staff were very friendly and helpful, even the inspection staff.  We went through inspection to get to our next leg.

We had about 2.5 hours to kill before our next flight.  We were prepared for full meltdown because of her lack of sleep.  She was also hungry.  Not many food options in her palate preference....until we found the golden arches!

Life was great with her 5 piece nuggets and white milk.

The Narita airport had some nice areas to rest, including this raised cushion seat.  They also had a kids play area that she enjoyed for a short time.

Due to the lack of sleep, her accidental fall terminated play time.  We encouraged her to rest in her stroller, where she fell asleep while waiting for the ANA flight to Guangzhou.

She wasn't pleased when we had to wake her up to board a shuttle bus to board the flight.  She was so sleep-deprived.  We're hoping it was going to help with the timezone acclimation.
